Junior SQL Developer

The Junior SQL Developer will assist Senior SQL Developers maintain and enhance existing database systems and data processes, and will participate in the documentation, design, development, testing, and implementation of new sites and systems.

DUTIES

The Junior SQL Developer will work collaboratively with IT staff, operations staff, and customers to ensure the smooth operation of internal and external software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

High school degree required

Bachelor's degree in software development technologies preferred

Certifications in current Microsoft based technologies preferred

EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

Experience in T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and server side scripting

Fundamental understanding of relational database design, ERD, and data models.

Ability to understand, interpret, and create design and requirement documents, and technical and business-process wireframes.

General knowledge of operating systems, network and computer hardware, and IT infrastructures.
