IT Development Manager

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The IT Development Manager is an integral member of the ACB leadership team responsible for ensuring quality delivery of IT projects through day-to-day management of the ongoing development teams. One key responsibility for this role is to build a strong working relationship with our Operations Team and engage in a hands on manner to solve problems alongside the team. Working with the IT leadership team, the IT Development Manager assists with creation of best practices, processes and policies that align with ACB's strategic initiatives. A successful IT Development Manager requires the ability to scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize program deliverables. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a motivated and engaged work environment for the Web Development Team.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach web developers at different levels of experience.
• Manage and execute against project plans and deliver commitments within a professional, high paced environment.
• Maintain continuous knowledge of technology trends supporting product efficiency.
• Lead and prepare frequent deployments and releases.
• Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented.
• Troubleshoot current applications and integration issues.
• Interface with our internal/external customers to understand requirements, set priorities and communicate direction and progress.
• Own all operational metrics and support for your teams' software.
• Drive improvements in software development practices.
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the team and implement performance improvements.
• Be the advocate for security and compliance and ensure IT is compliant and can provide attestation.

EXPERIENCE

• Must have 5+ years of experience in managing a web development team.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study OR equivalent combination or education and experience.
