POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Data Management Manager is an integral member of the ACB leadership team responsible for ensuring quality delivery of projects through management of the Enterprise Data Management Team. One key responsibility for this role is to build a strong working relationship with our Operations Team and engage in a hands-on manner to solve problems alongside the team. Working with the IT leadership team, the IT Data Management Manager assists with creation of best practices, processes and policies that align with ACB's strategic initiatives. A successful IT Data Management Manager requires the ability to scope requirements, and effectively prioritize program deliverables. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor as we launch our next generation of IT and be part of the digital and data transformation programs.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Lead the Enterprise Data Management Team in the development of client solutions using analytics, exploratory data analysis, SQL, and ETL.
• Create a motivated and engaged work environment for the Enterprise Data Management Team.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach data analysts at different levels of experience
• Provide best practices guidance, governance and oversight to the development initiatives requiring ETL processes.
• Manages the conflicting priorities for the Enterprise Data Management Team to allow proper prioritization of Data Management projects.
• Research strategic directions for data technologies and work with IT Leadership to bring to life.
• Participate in the process to create and maintain an Access Management Policy for ACB.
• Maintain the suite of tools and processes to perform extract, cleanse, transform and load (ETL) data across the enterprise
• Be an advocate for security and compliance and ensure IT is compliant and can provide attestation.
• Develop project plans and timelines; responsible for project commitments to quality and on-time deliverables for the Enterprise Data Management Team.
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the team and implement performance improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• B.S in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study OR equivalent combination or education and experience.

Technical Knowledge:

• Database design in MS SQL
• Experience in object-orientated programming

Managerial Experience:

• Minimum of five years demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Must be very organized with excellent follow up skills.
• Must be able to take initiative on projects and take responsibility for project completion.

Work Experience:

• Must have 5+ years of experience managing a Data Management Team.
