OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Account Manager's role is to provide support to the Account Director's in the management and strategic initiatives for ACB's Clients. This position is responsible for onboarding new Clients, ensuring Clients are receiving outstanding customer service, analysis of business data and trending, ongoing communication, and the exchange of information. This position is also responsible for strengthening the business partnership and expanding services where possible. This highly visible position is located in our Tempe location, with frequent travel to Client locations. This position maintains close Client contact and works directly with ACB's sales and production teams to fulfill client business requirements.

The position also requires the generation of new business from existing clients where they are designated as the primary Account Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicates new and current client initiatives and needs to ACB personnel
  • Works with ACB management to mobilize resources to assure timely delivery of services
  • Interfacing with client's other vendors and agencies as directed
  • Resolves escalated day-to-day problems and issues as they arise
  • Maintains and delivers weekly and monthly program status reporting, including; weekly status reports, monthly status reports with regards to special projects, business review, and ad hoc reporting
  • Assists in translating client requirements to ACB operations, IT and management personnel for execution and fulfillment
  • Participates in meetings with key program stakeholders
  • Attends, participates and assists in the development of training materials for group meetings and other client sessions as required. This may include materials for divisional meetings, trade partner training, account manager training, key account training, brand training, sales training, divisional headquarter and key marketing personnel
  • Participates in trade shows and buying group events as needed
  • Manages program guideline additions, changes, and revisions. Communicates additions and changes to program headquarters to ensure ongoing integrity of claim auditing and processing

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years Account or Project management. Knowledge of channel marketing a plus.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL

  • Frequent travel is undertaken as needed and may include overnight trips, usually not more than 1-3 days in duration.
  • May be required to provide transportation for clients and to entertain clients in the evening and/or on weekends.
  • Hours of work are as needed to ensure all commitments and projects are completed.
